The waitress who helped us was one of many sweetest waitresses I’ve ever had! There’s loads of parking within the back and the blue ridge parkway is shut by if you wish to see some fairly scenery after you eat. The Pine Tavern WILL BE accepting reservations for personal events, corresponding to WEDDINGS, RECEPTIONS, REUNIONS, and PARTIES. We got here right here at the advice of the lodge owner subsequent door and we were VERY impressed. The meatloaf and the rooster and dumplings were each outstanding, service was nice, and the meal was an excellent worth. We most likely wouldn’t have gone to any other restaurant whereas in town if we might have. If you’re on the lookout for good quaint nation cooking it doesn’t get much better than this.
The Pine Tavern Restaurant is a gem tucked away within the mountains of Virginia. We got the household type lunch which was scrumptious and affordable. The mashed potatoes and hen have been wonderful.
It is deep fried in stress cooker. The place was clear and alluring. everySunday for over 25 years in a small city, very like Floyd, within the shadow of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We hope that the same feeling of family, hospitality, history, and heritage is imparted to our friends.
